Request for Comments on updated CRS Coordinators Manual

Deadline: July 31, 2012

The final draft of the CRS Coordinator's Manual has been posted on the temporary "Manual update" website (www.CRS2012.org) so that communities can refer to it as they anticipate future activities. This is the version being used in the Office of Management and Budget approval process. It is expected to become effective in 2013. Your thoughts, questions, and comments are welcomed as the CRS strives for continuous improvement.

ASFPM has been involved in the discussions of the CRS Coordinator's Manual through representation on Task Force and participation by committees - and will not be putting consolidated comments together; however, we are encouraging states and chapters to comment individually as comments from those experienced in floodplain management and mitigation planning will be helpful.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING COMMENTS:

1. Please follow this link to the CRS Manual website www.CRS2012.org

2. Click on "Outreach and Feedback" link in the 3rd paragraph of the homepage.

3. Click on "submit comments" link in the 3rd paragraph of the Outreach and Feedback page and submit any comments you may have.

The deadline to submit your input is JULY 31, 2012.
