The 2024 MNAFPM conference will be a joint conference with the Iowa Floodplain and Stormwater Management Association, to be held November 13-15 in Austin MN

Conference attendees consist of federal, state, and local government officials, planners, engineers, consultants, researchers, educators, watershed organizations, realtors, appraisers, and insurance agents. The conference agenda will focus on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain management guidance, recovery programs, flood control projects, case studies, and mapping. 


Attendee Registration Costs: 

Training Day (11/13) - $60 Training Session(s), $50 Field Tour (optional) 
Main Conference Day (11/14) - $140
                 Prices increase on 10/24


Hotel: 

The conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton (formerly the Holiday Inn)

A block of 75 rooms has been reserved at a rate of $145 plus tax. Reservations by phone at 507-433-1000. Many alternative accommodations are nearby. The Cobblestone Hotel is recommended.

Booth spaces are available from 9:00 am Wed, Nov 13 to 5:00 pm Thurs, Nov. 14.

Exhibitor Social will be on Wed from 5:00 - 7:30 pm
