2017 MnAFPM Annual Conference

November 15-17, 2017

Breezy Point Resort: Pequot Lakes

We recognize that time and budget restrictions may limit the training opportunities of many community officials, particularly those in smaller jurisdictions or more rural areas. MnAFPM would like to help by offering a scholarship to our upcoming conference: November 15-17, 2017 at Breezy Point Resort in Pequot Lakes MN. Scholarships will cover Conference Registration, which includes 2018 MnAFPM annual membership, Wednesday evening reception and lunch Thursday. Conference participants can earn up to 12 continuing education units (CEUs).

Membership in MnAFPM has many benefits, such as interacting with other communities in similar circumstances to find common solutions to floodplain management issues, as well as formal training & workshop opportunities.

Priority consideration will be given to:

● Staff of communities who participates in the National Flood Insurance Program, or current Students.

● Must have at least partial responsibility with floodplain management duties.

● Those who have not previously received a MnAFPM scholarship.

Please email your completed application, with “MnAFPM Scholarship” in the subject line, to:

The MnAFPM Board will take applications through October 15, 2017. After reviewing and selecting up to 10 recipients, the Board will notify the selected recipients by October 20, 2017.
