Free Hazard Mitigation Training Opportunity

Considering a safe room, power line retrofit or acquisition? HSEM and FEMA are pleased to announce free Hazard Mitigation trainings to be held this month in St. Paul.

These courses will provide the tools to develop and implement a successful hazard mitigation grant.

  1. June 12-13 – L276 Benefit–Cost Analysis (BCA) –Entry Level Training

  2. June 18-20 – L 212 Unified Hazard Mitigation Assistance Program – Developing Quality Application Elements

  3. June 25-26 – L 213 Unified Hazard Mitigation Assistance Program – Application Review and Evaluation

  4. June 27-28 – L 214 Unified Hazard Mitigation Assistance Program – Project Implementation & Programmatic Closeout

Due to Presidential Disaster Declaration DR-4113-MN, Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funds are available statewide.

Due to the short notice we request RSVP for the BCA course by noon Friday, June 7 and for L-212, 213 and 214 by Friday June 14.
