ASFPM Scholarship Opportunities

MnAFPM typically awards up to three (3) scholarships to MnAFPM members to attend the National ASFPM Conference each year.
The Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) conference is a great opportunity to network and learn more about floodplain management. The MnAFPM scholarship can be applied towards airfare, conference registration, hotel room, transportation between the airport and hotel, and a food per diem (up to federal allowance). ASFPM membership fees must be paid by the recipient.
Applicants MUST be a current MnAFPM member (the last years MnAFPM conference registration included membership dues or you can become a member today). Recipients are expected to share an informal summary on their conference experience. Preference will be given to applicants who are or plan to be involved with MnAFPM conference planning.
Applications for this Annual Scholarship are typically available a few months before the ASFPM Conference.
